I know that I went too early,
And that God took me too soon.
But sometimes Angels are needed,
To fly over that silvery moon.

I know that I was only young,
I had many years ahead,
But God needed an extra Angel,
They had to be the best he said.

But don't be sad - - I'm happy,
Even though I've gone too soon.
Look for me each night,
In the light of that silvery moon.
